Hiking

Today was a really beautiful day for hiking, we went to Squamish, BC. This is a picture from the top of the first peak.

There's still snow at the top of the mountains. Great place to take pictures but requires lots of leg muscles. :D

Fishing

As I said yesterday, we were going fishing today. It first started out looking like this.

But soon turned into this.

We found a waterfall and little crabs. Can you find them in this photo?

But we didn't have any luck catching fish for lunch, so we just ate the rest of our bait. :P   Squid!

Coconut Granita

Going to try this dessert I found on Zakka Life. It's a coconut granita. It sounds pretty simple to make but requires a little more TLC in the making process. :D

Currently working on a project and between that, school, and my brother visiting, I am super busy! Fishing tomorrow and we are planning a trip to Victoria, BC soon too. :D

Yo-yo up your Bag

You know how companies sometimes give you logoed bags with their products? They usually aren't the best quality bags in the first place and then if you use them you feel like a giant walking billboard! So here's a little trick to make them a bit more personalized and a little less commercialized. :D

Baby duckies!

This is the book I got the pattern out of. I added feet to my ducky since I thought he looked too feet-less!
